Popped in for tea and cake before our walk today. Staff very friendly. Service great. Homemade cakes excellent. We don't live in Eastbourne but we are frequent visitors and will definitely be back. Would highly recommend.

If I could give more stars I would! After reading previous reviews I wasn't sure what to expect, but for the last 4 months or so I've been a few times. The staff are always so friendly and it has a real community feel. I'm not from this area but it's always nice and chilled at rens even in busier times. I've had the burger and the breakfast and it is delicious. Really generous size portions and the meat quality is excellent and the staff really care that you have a good experience. Especially the chef. I'm yet to work my way through the fresh bakes but the cakes look delicious too. They welcome dogs and also have an 'artist of the week' wall, where customers children art work is displayed. Just a very wholesome place and I can't wait to share more food with loved ones here. So glad I checked this place out for myself! Keep up the great work!

Dropped in after a morning walk at Birling Gap. Clean, warm, rustic. Beautifully presented food. Had the shakshuka while the wife had a good portion of granola and the child had waffles to her taste. Really nice breakfast. A nice touch was the “artists of the week” which featured all the kid’s drawings! Would return.

Absolutely amazing food and service. We popped in today to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a nice breakfast and the food was incredible! It was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! All the staff were so nice and friendly, Ren’s is a real gem in Eastbourne.

This place had no reason to be this good. Had the shakshuka which was lovely, good portion, and freshly made. The coffee also is really good , not burned at all , which is something that you seldom see in coffee shops nowadays. Finally , the staff is really polite and smiling. Would definitely recommend

Fabulous shakshuka, delicious omelette, great americano. Both dishes nicely seasoned. Fresh ingredients, and the food was hot as we like it. It’s really hard to find such a great food in the UK. We would give 10 stars of if we could!

Food and staff both amazing . So much to choice from , and all fresh , I’m a vegetarian and there was so many options for me , usual there is one or 2 , but not here , price also amazing as it’s all decent ingredients will definitely be coming again
